You don't have to worry about whether you have enough space, the ability to integrate with Outlook or Gmail, a proper spam filter, or the possibility for email accounts on multiple domains, because we have done that for you and put together an email hotel, which is more than sufficient for most needs.
With us, you get one of the cheapest email hotels on the market, but with mail space, domain places, website options, and features that match even the most expensive solutions.
Our email hotel can also be used as a regular web hotel, and you can therefore also have websites or webshops on your domains with us.

As part of our standard package, the email hotel is included. Our standard package comes with 10 GB of space, and you decide how to distribute it. If you just want to use email, you then have 10 GB available for your emails.
Our email system supports both POP3 and IMAP as well as SMTP for outgoing emails. We have several guides in our video support section that describe the setup of these. Emails can thus be retrieved in programs like Outlook, Gmail, and Thunderbird.
If you need more space in your email hotel, you can upgrade to both 20 GB and 40 GB. However, most people can stay within the 10 GB by cleaning up their inbox now and then. We previously had a catch-all feature enabled, but we chose to disable this as several customers felt it filled their email hotel too quickly. So now only the emails that you choose to save on the server are stored in case you have chosen an IMAP setup.
We recommend that you initially choose an IMAP setup in connection with our email hotel. Here, a copy of your emails will be saved on the server, so you can always reload them if your computer were to break down. With POP3, the email is downloaded to your computer, and a copy is not saved on the server. Therefore, you cannot recreate your emails if something happens to your computer.

How quickly do you set up my web hosting/domain?
We create your hosting account and domain the moment your payment is confirmed, and you can log in immediately after.
Can I purchase web hosting without moving the domain right away?
Yes, you can. However, you need to have a domain that we can use to create your account. You don't need to transfer your website, emails, etc. to get started. Read more here.
What happens after I have placed my order?
After you have placed your order, you will receive a series of emails containing information about your web hosting account, allowing you to get started right away.
Does Polar55 take backup for me?
Yes, absolutely!
At Polar55, we care about your and your data's security. Therefore, a backup of all data is made every night. Backups are stored for 14 days at a remote location in an EU country. Daily snapshots are taken here and stored individually for 14 days. Furthermore, backups are mirrored to a third location in another EU country, where they are stored for 3 months. These two remote locations are separated and independent, meaning there is no connection between location A and B. Additionally, the last 3 days' backups are stored locally in case the connection to the remote backup is down. In other words – you are very well covered when it comes to backup, and you always have access to restore it yourself!

My domain is paid for several years in advance, does it need to be renewed when transferring it?
Some domain types are renewed upon transfer, while others are not. If you need to know before placing an order, please contact us.
Can I buy/move multiple domains?
Yes, you can. Simply start by purchasing/moving one domain to us. After that, you can easily buy/move more through our control panel.
Is it true that I can have unlimited domains/websites on the same web hosting?
Yes, that's absolutely correct. There is no limit on how many domains and possible websites you can have on the same web hosting with us.
Website and Mail
Can you help me move my website to you?
Yes, we can. We can move your site, change name servers, etc. However, this is not part of your web hosting product but a separate service.
Can you assist me in building my website?
