If you are looking for a data processing agreement, you have come to the right place. As we store your information, and possibly your customers’ information, we act as a data processor for you. If you need a data processing agreement to document how we handle your information and who has access to it, you can find it in this document. You can also sign the document and return it to us (preferably as a PDF). Please send the signed version to ms@polar55.com.
At the bottom of the page, you will find a small FAQ that covers the essential points from the data processing agreement. Here, we attempt to explain it in simpler language so that you, as a customer, can understand how we handle your data.
We do not offer customized data processing agreements.

If you have any questions about the data processing agreement, we will do our best to answer them. However, we are not lawyers ourselves, so we might need to ask you to contact experts in the field.
We use your information to ensure both the operation and the ability to communicate with you. Your email and phone number are stored to be able to contact you. This could include payment reminders, order confirmations, information about operational issues, and the like. Your name and address details are used, among other things, to register and renew domains, as the domain registrar requires this information to confirm your identity.
The owners and employees of Polar55 have access to the information. Additionally, we use some external partners. You can see in the data processing agreement at any time who these subprocessors are. This includes, among others, Hexonet, which is our domain registrar, and Hetzner as our server provider.
We do not disclose your information to anyone other than the mentioned subprocessors. Therefore, it is only to the companies that have an absolutely necessary function for us at Polar55 to operate a hosting business. We strive to give as few people as possible access to your information.
